Task 4. Practical part.
Using the ideas from our web-quest (words and pictures) or various internet sources make up a summer part of a calender "My Urals". Every of the 3 pages of your calender (for June, July and August) should contain a picture and a sentence connected with. On your pages you are supposed to show nature and the animal world of the Urals. When everything is ready send your calendar to chubuk@list.ru. And finally it will a become a part of a big calendar prepared by all the teams of our school.
Используя идеи нашего веб-квеста или ресурсы Интернета, создайте "летнюю" часть календаря "Мой Урал". Каждая из 3-х страниц Вашего календаря (для июня, июля и августа) должна содержать картинку и предложение, связанное с ней. На Ваших страничках Вы должны показать природу и животный мир Урала.. Когда все будет готово, отправьте Вашу работу по указанному адресу. В итоге квеста Ваши странички станут частью одного большого календаря, подготовленного всеми командами нашей школы! Не забывайте, что язык проекта - английский. Подсказка: проще и интереснее всего создавать календарики при помощи текстового редактора Microsoft Word, где во вкладке "Файл" необходимо выбрать графу "Создать", найти шаблон календаря и дать волю своей фантазии.

Task 1.
Find an illustration for each of the texts. Write down your answers in the Answer List. (Подберите картинку для каждого текста. Запишите Ваши ответы в Лист Ответов).
1. Nikita Demidov was the first of the Demidovs family who came to the Urals. He was an outstanding manufacturer. His works produced iron of the high quality known all over the world.
2. Small coat of arms of Sverdlovsk region is a dark red shield with a silver sable in upright position, his front paws hold the gold boom. The shield is crowned with a golden imperial crown.
3. Moose are the largest members of the deer family and one of the largest land mammals in Eurasia. Adults may stand as tall as 2.3 m high. Their huge bodies are covered with short dark brown fur. They have large ears and a long square face. A flap of skin known as a bell sways beneath the moose's throat.
4. Linden is a shade tree with heart-shaped leaves and drooping clusters of yellowish white flowers.
5. Emerald is a rare variety of beryl that is colored green by chromium and valued as a gem. Emeralds were found near Murzynka not far from Alapaevsk. This place is now called “Murzynsky mine”.

6. Send an e-mail containing your Answer List and Practical part to chubuk@list.ru. (Отправьте электронное письмо, содержащее Ваш Лист Ответов и Практическое Задание на указанный электронный адрес).
